The City vacuums leaves from the curb from October 1st through March 31st.  Please place your leaves loose at the edge of the curb at the street; DO NOT put them in the street or on the sidewalk.  Leaves should not be placed in the gutter line near storm drains or ditches - heavy rains can cause the leaves to block the flow of rainwater.  Please do not bag or containerize leaves from October 1st through March 31st as it slows down the progress of collection.  If you need to transport leaves from a rear yard to the curb, please use a tarp or some other container and then empty the contents of the container/tarp loose onto the curb.

During peak leaf season, November through January, yard waste such as brush and limbs will only be collected the first full week of the month.

2017-2018 Leaf Season Information

During leaf season (October 1st through March 31st), the volume of leaves is very heavy, therefore we cannot guarantee your leaves to be serviced on your regular collection day.  During the peak leaf season November, December and January we will collect your leaves at least 2 times per month and not every week.

REMEMBER!  AFTER MARCH 31st until September 30th leaves must be put in a 32-gallon personal container with handles or our newly offered yard waste cart. Click here for more information on yard waste carts.

Offices for Solid Waste are open 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday.
