Planning on replacing an old water heater?
The City of Gastonia offers a rebate for replacing a water heater. Simply install a new electric water heater that is thirty (30) gallons or larger and you can receive a rebate for $150.00.
To receive your rebate, simply call the Electric Department at 704-866-6823 and inform us that you have installed a new electric water heater.
To quickly process your rebate, please have your social security number/tax ID number, mailing address, phone number, and location of water heater if it is not the same as the mailing address.
Please note that the City of Gastonia does not sell water heaters, but will gladly apply the rebate to any qualified water heater that you purchase.
