This fourteen-member crew is responsible for repairs and maintenance to more than 160 City owned buildings. This includes painting, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work. They also provide janitorial services within 15 buildings. The division has 750,000 square feet of structures under more than 300,000 square feet of roofing surface to maintain.
In addition to routine maintenance, Building Maintenance responds to more than 1,000 repair requests each year. Also undertaken are 8-10 renovations projects annually.
