Residential Yard Waste Collection

Yard Waste Collection

Do not put yard waste in your rollout container. Your yard waste will be collected by a different crew on the same day that your garbage and household trash are collected. N. C. Law requires yard waste to be collected separate from garbage or household trash. The following items are collected by your yard waste crew:

• limbs (No larger than 4 feet in length or 4 inches in diameter)
• logs (need to meet the same criteria as limbs)
• grass clippings (contained either in clear plastic bags or old garbage cans)
• leaves (vacuumed at the curb from October to December 31st)
