Welcome to GastoniaPD.org, the official web site of the Gastonia Police Department.
Gastonia is among the 15 largest cities in North Carolina and the Gastonia Police Department is an award winning organization that is continually evolving with our growing city.
Like each of the 200 men and women who wear our uniform or work in civilian positions, I am very proud to be a member of the Gastonia Police Department. Some of our recent accomplishments include a new police districts system to increase accountability, increased use of technology, the formation of a Problem Analysis Research Center (PARC), and the promotion of new leaders.
In keeping with our mission to "Prevent Crime Through Problem-Solving Partnerhships," we work with various partners to make our city a great place to live, work, play and visit. This web site is a valuable tool to help inform the community and enhance our partnerships.
