- Advanced Law Enforcement Certificate from the State of North Carolina Department of Justice Education & Training Standards Commission.
- Sgt. Arndt's many Gastonia Police Department awards include the Medal of Valor, the Exceptional Duty Award, and recognition as Officer of the Year twice.
