Landscaping
Landscaping and Cemeteries operates from the Operations Center at 1300 N. Broad Street. General requests should be directed to our business lines at 704.866.6776.
This section takes pride in maintaining seven City-owned cemeteries and landscape maintenance of City facilities, beautification areas, street right-of-ways and the five I-85 interchanges located in the City. Landscape works closely with "Keep Gastonia Beautiful", Community Development and the Planning Department to carry out many aesthetic improvements to our community.

Cemetery
The Cemetery section is responsible for seven City owned cemeteries including: Armstrong, Firestone, Hollywood, North Oakland, Oakwood, Rosehill, and Shiloh. Grave spaces are available to City residents at the Armstrong Cemetery.

Columbarium Information
The City has recently added a new Columbarium to Hollywood Cemetery. The Columbarium is made of granite and black marble and contains 48 double niches suitable for 2 cremains. The Columbarium is made of Georgia granite and black marble. Niches sell for $995 with the City paying for basic engraving.
