The mission of the City of Gastonia Citizens' Advisory Panel (CAP) for Stormwater is to advise the City's staff and the Mayor and City Council of Stormwater related issues including service levels, rules and regulations, prioritization of projects, and evaluation of the program results. It is also responsible for ensuring input in the development of policy for these and other stormwater-related issues.
CAP is a 14-seat citizen panel appointed by City Council and Mayor. Panel members are appointed to serve a two-year term and represent the interests of the citizens of the City of Gastonia on stormwater related issues. Membership is limited to residents inside the City of Gastonia limits.
