Stormwater EPA Mandates



Stormwater Management Plan - Six Minimum Measures

In 1999, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) began requiring cities of certain size and urban areas to take measures to reduce the stormwater impacts in their area. The City of Gastonia now has certain measures to comply with according to their Stormwater Permit. Currently, the City of Gastonia remains in negotiations with the State of North Carolina regarding specific details of the Stormwater Phase II Permit# NCS 000429.
