A: Yes, the Stormwater Utility has one dedicated crew and one shared crew that handle stormwater concerns and maintenance. They can be identified by the blue stormwater logo on the vehicle.

A: Stormwater fees are based on impervious surface and are calculated using a standard of measure called an Equivalent Residential Unit (ERU). The monthly fee for one ERU is $2.75. All residential units are charged one (1) ERU per month, and non-residential properties are charged based on the ERUs per site.

A: Pipes do not solve stormwater problems; they only move them downstream. Open channels are an alternative that can manage stormwater problems, while providing a water quality benefit as well. The Stormwater Utility encourages open channel solutions whenever possible.
