About Us
The Revenue Collection Division is responsible for the collection of all City revenues including utility payments, parking tickets, business licenses and water and sewer assessments. We accept personal checks, money orders and cash.
Property and vehicle taxes are billed and collected by Gaston County. For information regarding your property or vehicle taxes, please contact the Gaston County Tax Office at 704.866.3158.
Our office is located in City Hall, 181 South Street. Office hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. For your convenience there is a payment drop box located on the South Street side of City Hall where payments may be dropped after hours and on weekends. Customers may set up automatic bank draft for their monthly utility account, saving time and postage each month.
The City of Gastonia is sensitive to the needs of customers which several programs address including the Medical Alert program, Pay Arrangement program and special consideration for our senior citizens. If you have questions about any of these, please call our office at 704.866.6716.
