Bags, gloves, and pickup service are furnished for any neighborhood conducting a cleanup.
Our organization continues to enhance our city's entranceways with tree plantings and beautification projects.
We encourage the removal of any signs posted on utility poles. Our city has an ordinance against any signs being placed on city utility poles.
We encourage and sponsor tree plantings throughout our city. We actively promote tree plantings during Arbor Day and Earth Day.
Gastonia is currently working to expand our greenways. The greenway's main entrance is at Lineberger Park.
This is a yearly community cleanup involving neighborhood watch groups, city employees, scouts, environmental clubs, businesses, churches, and civic organizations.
Informational brochures are available to help businesses address waste issues, encourage recycling, and to recognize their waste stream.
