Bio
John B. Howren, Jr., was elected to represent Ward 5 on the Gastonia City Council in November 2005. Councilman Howren is a self-employed Marketing and Sales Professional. He received his education from Appalachian State Teachers College, Brevard College and East Tennessee State University. Mr. Howren is married to Susan and they have two children and one grandchild.
