Disconnect Services

Meter Reading 
If you need to disconnect service, call 704-866-6714 at least 2 working days before the scheduled disconnect date.  Your meter will be read on the disconnect date and a final bill prepared and mailed to your new address.  If there is a deposit on the account, it will be applied to the final bill and any remaining balance will be refunded.

Offices for Utility Customer Service are open Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and are located in City Hall at 181 South Street on the first floor.
