A: An updated listing of job vacancies can be found each week on the Government Access Channel 16 on Cable, or by calling the City’s Job Line at (704) 854-6622, or through the Employment Security Commission’s web-site at www.ncesc.com. The City accepts applications for employment 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday at 181 S. South Street. Interest cards or applications can be obtained from the City’s Employment Office or by writing to the Employment Division at P.O. Box 1748, Gastonia, NC 28053.
