Athletic Programs

The Gastonia Parks and Recreation Department (GPRD) provides a variety of active and passive recreation opportunities for all ages, and preserves valuable open space for the enjoyment of the citizens of Gastonia.  The City of Gastonia Parks and Recreation Department is now home to thousands of youth, ages four to eighteen, who participate in our youth athletic programs each year which include soccer, baseball, softball, volleyball and basketball programs.

Thank you to our 2021-2022 athletic sponsor, Popeyes of Charlotte.
