Enjoy live music, food, vendors, and fireworks at downtown Gastonia's Fourth of July Celebration, from 5:00PM to 9:30PM Thursday, July 4, at the Rotary Centennial Pavilion, 111 N. South St., Gastonia.
The celebration features a music from 5:00PM to 6:00PM, live music from the band Night Years from 6:00PM to 9:00PM, and music from 9:00PM - the end of the fireworks show. There will also be 11 food trucks, a beer garden, local vendors, inflatables and a mechanical ride, and entertainment. Wristbands are required to enter in the Kids Zone area, but the rides and entertainment are all free. This year's fireworks show will be accompanied by patriotic music and will start around 9:30PM, depending on the weather.
Participating food trucks include: Lil Dunkers Mini Donuts, Repicci's Italian Ice, Yummi Banh Mi, Ole Buddy's Oinker Express, Dan Good Que, The Cookin Coop, Carolina Moon, Sugar Shack food truck and dessert truck, Cousins Maine Lobster, and Renaldo's Culinary Experience. Beer will be sold in the beer garden area. All vendors, including the Kids Zone and beer garden areas, will start shutting down at 9:00PM in preparation for the fireworks show.
