Firefighters from across Gaston County are assisting the Marine Corp Reserve by conducting a Toys for Tots drive to benefit local children.
We are conducting this campaign with one goal in mind, to make sure every child has a toy to open this holiday season.
From now until December 15th 2017, we are asking that everyone that can consider purchasing a new and unwrapped toy for a needy child.
Toys can be dropped off at all Gastonia Fire Department stations, various volunteer fire departments throughout Gaston County, The Gastonia Police Department, as well as other drop off locations.
Citizens that do not want to purchase toys, but would like to make a monetary donation can do so at: http://gastonia-nc.toysfortots.org.
100 percent of the toys and funds donated will stay in Gaston County, to help families that need it.
