Fire Inspection Schedule

FIRE INSPECTION SCHEDULE

In order to preserve and to protect public health and safety in buildings, structures, and premises shall have a periodic inspection scheduled for the purpose of identify activities and conditions that pose dangers of fire, explosion, or related hazards. The following are to be used as guidelines in when an inspection may be required, when a change of ownership of the building, or when conditions are warranted.

Annual Inspections

Assembly

Any Occupancy storing hazardous material

Daycare

High Rise (higher than 75 feet)

Public Schools (twice a year)

Institutional

Foster Home

Interior common areas of Residential structures (with more than two dwelling units)

Biennial Inspections

Factory/Industrial

Triennial Inspections

Mercantile Business without hazardous material

Storage without hazardous material
