Charles M. Odom was elected to the City Council in November 2019. He received a Diploma in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration from Gaston College and retired from General Electric Company as a Field Service Technician. Charles is the father of four children: Marcus, Brooke, Charleston, and Caleb and also proud “Pawpaw” to eight grandchildren.
